Big Heart Outdoors

Big Hearts Outdoors is a faith-based organization designed to introduce individuals with disabilities to the outdoors through hunting and fishing experiences. Each participant is paired with trained volunteer guides who provide one-on-one support.

All equipment is provided, including hunting and fishing gear. Specialized adaptive equipment is available for individuals with mobility limitations. Events are limited based on available volunteer guides. Meeting locations vary but often include the Alexander County Fairgrounds for hunting and Whittenburg Lake Access for fishing.
